OSX currently does not offer Tamil as a part of its international language support; however, a Unicode Tamil Language Kit may be purchased from XenoType Technologies.

This is what I found out so far.
Why don't U contact apple? I bet they may be able to assit U. If u are a bit reluctunt about referring ti kamalogam to them then u can refer tamilmantram. ask them about using tamil unicode in mac machines. refer them tamilmantram.com. Tell them u are having problems. I heard that Apple's tech support is pretty good.

I am searching for a Tamil Unicode font for Mac. I found TSCII / Mylai Fonts for Mac. Maybe you can type on that and use the below converter to change it to Unicode.

I am able to read this site very well, but still have problems in posting in Tamil. The unicode converter does not work for me, though I have tried quite a few fonts. I will still keep trying. Till such time, please permit me to read and post comments in English
