iam using i mac pls guide me how to install fonts and how to work pls psl

OSX currently does not offer Tamil as a part of its international language support; however, a Unicode Tamil Language Kit may be purchased from XenoType Technologies.

Otherwise ... is any other option there
no way va pls pa help me some thing ....

This is what I found out so far.

Why don't U contact apple? I bet they may be able to assit U. If u are a bit reluctunt about referring ti kamalogam to them then u can refer tamilmantram. ask them about using tamil unicode in mac machines. refer them tamilmantram.com. Tell them u are having problems.

I heard that Apple's tech support is pretty good.

in the mean while if i come across a hack for this XenoType Technologies i will let u know

I am searching for a Tamil Unicode font for Mac. I found TSCII / Mylai Fonts for Mac. Maybe you can type on that and use the below converter to change it to Unicode.

I am able to read this site very well, but still have problems in posting in Tamil. The unicode converter does not work for me, though I have tried quite a few fonts. I will still keep trying. Till such time, please permit me to read and post comments in English

Hi radhika,

What is the OS. Are u typing directly in Unicode coverter or Pasting in?

Mine is Win98, and using Murasu anjal (like before) to type and paste in to converter. Encoding should be TSCII.. Try this if u are using win 98. Reply me if the problem still exist..

I think Novalia's idea will be better. If posting is the only problem, then you can type in your PC as before in TSCII Tamil fonts, then use the Unicode converter at the bottom of every page here.

I will give you access now. But if you post in English, they will be removed at later stage. So better in Tamil, using the above method.

என்னுடைய முரசு பிண்ணணியில் இருந்ததினால் எழுத்துக்கள் தெரிந்தன.
முரசுவை நிறுத்தி விட்டால் தெரியவில்லை.


பின் குறிப்பு:

முரசு அஞ்சலின் பழைய எழுத்துருவிற்கு support கொடுத்ததால் தான் இந்த குழப்பம்.

இனி அதை விலக்க வேண்டும் என நினைக்கிறேன்.

ராதிகா இன்னும் தங்களின் பதிப்பை படிக்கமுடியவில்லை. தாங்கள் puppy மேடம் சொன்னது போல் செய்து பாருங்கள். நாமெல்லாம் முன்பு முரசு அஞ்சல் உபயோகப்படித்தினோம் இல்லையா.. அது இன்னும் தங்களின் கணிணில் ஓடிக்கொண்டிருக்கும். ஆகவே முரசு அஞ்சலை uninstall செய்து விட்டு ekalappai2 வை download செய்து install செய்யுங்கள். எல்லாம் சரியாகிவிடும்.
